The Coaching Experience

Any client who works with Jessica can expect to come away with a confidence that allows his or her unique message to flow freely, with the utmost integrity, personal style, and courage to speak through any fear that may present itself. Jessica provides a supportive environment, promoting growth by pushing clients outside their comfort zones. She works with clients in person in the New York City area as well as virtually.

Because she loves public speaking so much and is so inspired by her clients' work, clients really enjoy their coaching sessions. At the same time, many are very accomplished and come in with an immense amount of pressure on themselves. In these cases, Jessica quickly diffuses any stress in the room by bringing a sense of humor to the mix that allows her clients to relax and put their best foot forward.
Most importantly, Jessica presents honest and direct feedback during coaching sessions, sharing areas of opportunity and specific steps that can be taken to achieve goals. This allows clients to see that change is possible, and that they can create the results they desire.
Jessica's Inspiration
Jessica's love of communication began as a sophomore at Cornell University, when she had an aha moment while being coached by her public speaking professor. She grew so much from that experience that her professor asked her to teach a section of 20 students. As a teaching assistant, Jessica rehearsed with students before every speech and provided invaluable feedback. Even the most uninterested person in the class delivered a final dramatic speech which had the entire audience in tears. Jessica was blown away and realized the huge potential that exists in all of us.

Jessica has been motivating professionals to become more effective speakers since 2010. In addition to her oral communication coursework and teaching experience at Cornell, she has continued to hone her craft as a member of Toastmasters International.
